One of the first things that I always speak to my clients about is leaving the past in the past. We can’t change what we did or who we were. We need to accept and embrace the mistakes we made-see them as lessons that shaped who we are today.

What good is it to constantly berate and punish ourselves? What does that serve? Everything-EVERYTHING is designed to teach and to create space for us to grow.

Once we forgive ourselves for our past, we can heal.

The biggest and first step in healing is forgiveness. It’s also the hardest.
