Free Herbal Infused Oil Workshop

How are you managing the rapid and massive change that is happening?

If you catch any of the news anywhere, it is hard to not to be pulled into a stress response. With so much change and not knowing what is happening next, anxiety can easily rear its head. How are you staying grounded? How are you staying centered so you can know which action to take that is right for you at a time when there are hundreds of voices in the air all at once?

Fear, confusion, doubt, emotional turbulence, are just a few of the words I’ve heard people describing how they feel!

Not only are herbal oils themselves an antidote for what we are experiencing, there are so many little-known techniques for using the oils to help you ground, center and find the alignment of what is true for you now. I am on a bit of a mission to help bring this herbal knowledge more into awareness so more people can benefit from such simple and inexpensive herbal self-help techniques.

As you may have heard by now, my friend Kami McBride is doing a free workshop on herbal infused oils. Kami has 32 years of experience perfecting the art of making herbal oils, if you are at all interested in refining your herbal oils, her teachings on herbal oils is the most comprehensive you will find anywhere.

During these uncertain times, so many people are experience heightened stress, worry, and anxiety over the state of our society.
I was trying to think of a way that I can contribute to helping folks ease a bit of worry and provide some sort of balm for the hearts of those that are being physically and emotionally affected by everything we are experiencing.

I will be moving on Tuesday ( the 17th) to the farm in Ohio. Beginning on Thursday, I will be accepting limited free and low cost consultations.

Medicine Making Series

Do you want to learn how to create your own herbal medicines?

In this series of totally free online classes, you will receive a basic understanding of ten different preparations. We will work with plants that are gentle and supportive and create potent medicines with them.

What we will not do is go in too deeply about the actions of different plants. I will have a few profiles under each lesson, but I will provide links to learn more about specifics of plants of your choosing.

Now, this is not by any means a comprehensive program~simply a very beginner’s guide to making simple at home remedies. If you are looking to go deeper in your education, I have a few schools to recommend. These are all schools that I have taken classes with.

When you are just beginning the journey of working with plants and wanting to create your own medicine, it can be so overwhelming. Yes, there is tons of free information on the internet. Blogs, websites, all the things. But if you’re like me, you like to have something tangible. There is something about holding a book, being about to mark up the pages, and dog earring your favorite passages. That’s why I’m compiling a list of my favorite books to start off with. This is not an exhaustive list of even my personal stash of books and nowhere near a complete library of all the herbals you should have. But, it’s a good start.

I am currently taking an astro-herbalism course, and am fascinated with the connection of the moon and planets with our bodies and the plants.
